Miracles through Mind: Stimulus for Creative Thinking

‘Let your creative juices flow’ is an English idiom that is often used for saying ‘now it’s the need for creative thinking’. It could be for doing ‘out-of-the-box’ thinking for finding a solution to a problem, implementing new ideas for growing a business, creating new art, or even writing an essay.  There is an easy and equally effective technique to stimulate your creativity! This technique is laughter. Let me tell you how it works.

Whenever we need creative thinking, take 5 minutes. You might be at the office, home or travelling; all you need to do is find a mirror. If a mirror is unavailable, simply start your mobile’s camera in selfie mode. You need to be able to see yourself. Once you can see yourself, think about a series of funny moments that happened in your past. As you start remembering those funny moments, you will start smiling. Now, you have to convert that smile into laughter…genuine laughter! And keep looking at your reflection in the mirror when laughing.

If you experience genuine laughter every day for just 5 minutes before you need creative thinking, your brain gets ready to think creatively. You start to get new ideas! If you are writing a poem and are stuck at a line, then the experience of genuine laughter increases the possibility of that line coming to your mind!

Genuine laughter is the best stimulus to break the stagnancy you experience and to take you to the next point!

Try this technique. You will laugh for 5 minutes and then become more creative!
