Miracles through Mind: Body Feels and Mind Reflects!
Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you are about to leave for work, all ready to step out, and you realize you have forgotten your keys? So, you keep the bag, lunch box, or other things in your hand, go inside the house to fetch your keys, and by the time you reach your bedroom, you have forgotten why you were there. Or sometimes, when you are taking a shower, you remember an important message that you had to give to your client, but by the time you have finished your bath and are out of the shower, you have forgotten it. I am sure almost every one of us has experienced this sometimes.
Have you ever wondered why this happens? Well, let me tell you the scientific reason and a technique to help you overcome this issue! Whenever your eyes see a door, maybe the door between your living room to the bedroom when you go from one room to another to fetch your keys or the bathroom door when you come out of the bathroom, it signals the brain to erase the earlier thought and start a fresh page. Thus, whatever was in your mind earlier is wiped out, and your mind is ready to receive new information.
This happens because whatever we feel or think in our mind reflects on our body and whatever impacts our body, reflects on our mind. Our eyes, one of our body parts, communicate what they see, and the mind interprets that. When the eyes see a door, the mind interprets the image of the door as an instruction to wipe out the old information. Before going through the door, our brain remembers the information, but once it crosses the door, it wipes out the information. So, our brain doesn’t remember what we were trying to fetch from inside the house when we go through the door of our home.
Now, let us look at the technique! You can overcome the forgetfulness caused because of the sight of the doors by repeatedly saying what you are after to yourself. In our example of finding keys, keep on saying keys…keys…keys until you cross the bedroom door and reach for the keys. In our examples of sending a message to the client, keep saying call to the client…call to the client…call to the client until you actually call the client! By repeating this information in our minds, you can complete the act easily even if you pass numerous doors. Do try this, and let me know how it works out for you!
