How should you interpret incidents in your life?

Today I am going to share a real-life story with you. I want you to read it, find your own moral from it and then execute that moral in your own lives!

This story is from a workshop in which 15 people had participated. I had asked them to introduce themselves by sharing a memorable event from their life. The event could be memorable for them because it was a happy event or it was an unhappy event. The necessity was that the event should have been memorable for them. From these 15 sharings, I am going to tell you 2 sharings.

The first sharing was of a businessman. He then had 2 malls in Mumbai and 3 malls in Dubai. For some reason, one of the malls in Dubai was closed down. From these 5 malls, the income he earned was around rupees 8 crores per month. After the mall was closed down, his income decreased to rupees 6.5 crores per month. After hearing the news that the mall was closed down, he suffered a heart attack and had to undergo a very painful surgery. He shared this incident because he had never forgotten it since he experienced it.

Another person shared an interesting event. He told us that his daughter was in a relationship with a boy and she had expressed her wish to marry that boy. Everybody was on board for this marriage. However, this gentleman was feeling very sad as, due to his office timings, he was not able to spend time with his daughter. After a few days, his company declared a layoff in which out of 5000 employees, 400 were laid off. And this gentleman was one of the 400 laid-off employees. After hearing this news, he was very happy. He was telling us that he was crying out of happiness! He was that happy! He explained that he was experiencing guilt because of not being able to spend time with his daughter, but after being laid off, he was going to be able to spend time with his daughter before her wedding. He expressed that maybe God listened to his wish. He did not have the guts to resign, so God brought a situation where he was laid off.

The story concludes here. Now, choose your own moral from this story!
