‘Be, Do and then Have’ Sequence for Business!
Did you know that if 100 new businesses start in a month, then after 5 years, only 10 businesses from those 100 businesses will still be running? And in 10 years, only 1 of those 100 businesses will still be operating. Why does this happen?
When a person starts thinking about becoming a businessman, he says that he will ‘do’ business, then he will ‘be’come a businessman and then he will ‘have’ success in business. The sequence of words that he thinks will lead him towards success is- ‘do, be and then have’. However, this is not the correct sequence that actually leads a person towards success in business. The correct sequence is- ‘be, do and then have’. What does this mean?
First, you have to ‘be’come a businessman. This means you have to instill characteristics of a businessman into your current personality. Then, you have to ‘do’ what business does. This means that you have to do things the way a businessman in your business will do things, not how you would do those things. And once you become a businessman and start doing what business does, you are going to ‘have’ success!
For example, if you are in the business of marketing, then you should be able to approach people on your own. That is your ‘be’. Then, when you approach them, can you talk about your business with them in a way that they find interesting? This is what a businessman will ‘do’. And then having success will follow eventually.
This ‘be, do and then have’ sequence is the first step in your journey of business. If you wish to become a businessman or a businesswoman, do use this technique to achieve long-term success in business.
